Dentist Hasan Karatay was born in Elazığ in 1980. He completed his dental education at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry, graduating in 2004 as the top-ranking student of his class. After graduation, Karatay began his professional career and worked as a private dentist between 2005 and 2013. During this period, he focused his clinical practice particularly on implantology, aesthetic dentistry, and surgical procedures.
In 2013, he founded the Dentsmile Oral and Dental Health Center and has continued his professional career at Dentsmile ever since. In addition to contributing to the development of the clinic and the planning of patient services, he remains actively involved in clinical dental practice.
His professional work focuses primarily on implantology and aesthetic dentistry. His clinical areas of interest include the planning of implant-supported treatments, rehabilitation of missing teeth with dental implants, aesthetic dental procedures, and comprehensive treatment planning. When planning treatment, he considers not only aesthetic expectations but also function, oral and dental health, and long-term treatment outcomes.
Advanced surgical procedures are also among his professional areas of practice. He continues to work on the surgical stages of implant treatments as well as the assessment of advanced surgical procedures that may be required prior to implant placement. His approach to implant dentistry is based on evaluating each patient individually, taking into account bone and soft tissue anatomy, the condition of the existing teeth, and overall oral health.
In aesthetic dentistry, he plans treatments according to the patient’s existing dental structure, facial and smile characteristics, and the shape, color, and harmony of the teeth. The objective is not merely to alter the aesthetic appearance, but to plan restorations that are compatible with the natural teeth, gingival tissues, and chewing function.
Committed to the principle of continuous professional education, Dentist Hasan Karatay has participated in numerous training programs in Türkiye and abroad, particularly in implantology, aesthetic dentistry, and advanced surgical procedures. He continues to follow professional education related to current treatment approaches, dental technologies, and digital dentistry applications.
Karatay also maintains active memberships in professional organizations, including the TDB (Turkish Dental Association), CADA (Computer Aided Dentistry Academy), and the Turkish Society of Periodontology.
Since graduating as the top-ranking student from Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2004, he has continued his professional career through private dental practice and Dentsmile, which he founded in 2013.
