What is Root Canal Treatment?

It is the process of removing the pulp tissue that is inflamed or infected by microorganisms for various reasons, cleaning the canal space, shaping it, and filling it with tissue filling materials. All these processes are defined as root canal treatment.

Root canal treatment is a treatment method applied in cases where the tooth root is affected due to decay or various traumas. The purpose here is to prevent tooth loss and keep the jawbone active by ensuring that the tooth performs its normal functions.

In Which Cases Is Root Canal Treatment Performed?

First of all, not every aching or decayed tooth is treated with root canal treatment. The decision and application methods of the treatment are determined by our specialist dentists.
